This inviting gallery showcases original works of art created by a juried group of emerging and well-established visual artists from the region. Foyer Gallery artists, many of whom have received local, national and international recognition, specialize in a variety of media, from oils, watercolours, acrylics, graphite, charcoal, pastels, fibre art and photography to sculptural works in wood, metal, clay, marble and glass.

At the Foyer Gallery, the art is unique and professional. Visitors also appreciate that this friendly gallery is always staffed by a knowledgeable artist. The Foyer Gallery is an artist-run exhibition space, operating under the auspices of the Foyer Gallery Artists’ Association and the City of Ottawa. Established in 1997, the Foyer Gallery increases the awareness, appreciation and promotion of the visual arts in the community. It provides a valuable and rewarding experience for both artists, art patrons and for the general public.

The Gallery has over 600 square feet of glassed enclosed space located in the front foyer of the Nepean Sportsplex. Annual traffic for the Nepean Sportsplex is approximately 1.1 million visitors. Although the gallery is open during specific hours, private showings are also available by appointment.

Exhibitions include themed Group shows, Focus shows featuring the work of three or four artists, and Solo shows. Exhibitions typically change every three weeks, so there is always something new to see.
