Remember Elisha?

Remember the kindness and compassion she inspired?
Of course you remember.  Everyone does
.

Elisha’s image was captured in a stunning 87” x 51” wall quilt by award winning quilt artist Margaret Dunsmore.

The front of the quilt tells of her origins, illustrates her spirit, and suggests a timely rescue. The story of Elisha’s escape, her adventures in the wild, her capture and return to Connecticut have been documented through photos and text on the reverse side of the quilt.

Elisha needs a home.
Although the real Elisha was returned to the Connecticult sanctuary, she remains a part of our community history. With this wall quilt, she can continue to capture the imagination of anyone who encounters her – family members, employees, visitors.

Think of the benefits to your company.
The acquisition of the Elisha quilt would generate positive publicity both in the short and long term, affirming your company as a good corporate citizen.

Having Elisha prominently placed in your corporation’s building would serve as a continuing reminder to staff and to visitors of your firm’s generous support of a valued community service.

Your employees’ children could take pride in a parent whose company helps save some 4,000 wild birds a year – not just one Chilean flamingo, but great blue herons, ducks, hawks, song birds – even crows.

Interested?
Although the purchase would be made through the Foyer Gallery, the artist would then provide a cheque in the full amount to the Wild Bird Care Centre. For confirmation of this arrangement, call Kathy Nihei at the Wild Bird Care Centre
828-2849.
The Centre is located at 734 Moodie Drive, Nepean, Ontario
