Membership The Foyer Gallery Artists' Association membership includes well established and emerging artists, many of whom have received local, national and international recognition. Applications are juried in an arm's length peer review done by a minimum of three professional artists. Acceptance is based on quality and excellence of original artwork AND on the applicant's willingness to participate in the operation of the Gallery. Participation in this co-operative gallery is mandatory. The Foyer Gallery is a city owned and artist-run exhibition space, curating 7 group shows and 2 solo shows every year. It draws a large viewing audience from the 1.1 million who visit the Nepean Sportsplex annually. Although the gallery is open during specified hours, private showings are available by appointment. 'Call for Artists' Please submit the following by 5:00 pm, January 27, 2008 CLOSED Application requirements: 1- A $25.00 non-refundable jury fee (cheque payable to: NVAC-AC, FGAA). 2- A signed application form with your name, address, city, postal code and phone numbers at home and at work, your e-mail address and your medium of artwork. 3- Artist's CV and artist statement. 4- 10 colour digital images (Jpeg and PC compatible only) on CD (1024 pixels on the longest side) showing your most recent work (within 2 years). Label the images with the number from 5- Provide a correspondingly numbered list of the images with the title, year of completion, dimensions, medium and techniques used. 6- Include a stamped and self-addressed envelope for the return of your slides or CD.
