Status of our Gallery location at the Nepean Sportsplex
As everyone is probably well aware, Ottawa continues to cope through the pandemic with a variety of changing guidelines as we move forward. We are armed with sanitizer, shields, wipes, masks and will follow any guidance from the City and Health officials in order that everyone remains safe. We were well on our way in preparing a reopening, however, the second wave has postponned all that. No dates are set. Unfortunately, the sportsplex is not yet open to the public and therefore, Foyer Gallery can not yet welcome patrons in our wonderful gallery space.
One good thing, however, is that the sportsplex has moved ahead with lots of construction and maintenance activity. We look forward to seeing what's new. We also very much look forward to welcoming many of you in person when the situation allows.
In the mean time, and as many artists among our city's vibrant arts community have done, we have taken the opportunity to expand our digital footprint. We continue to share our work with you through online shows. We have also grown our presence on social media. Check us out at foyergallery.com as well as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. ...and as we've announced in the summer, we do offer the safe alternative of purchasing art from your favorite artists with our online platform.
That's our news for the moment. Stay connected with us via the many channels mentioned above.
