THE FOYER GALLERY WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS

The Foyer Gallery Artists’ Association is pleased to welcome 2 new members and a returning member to our group. These artists were selected through a jury process based on the quality of their work and their commitment to participate in the exhibitions and activities of the Foyer Gallery.

Our new/returning artists and their media are:

Dhanashri Bapat – watercolour and acrylic
Mario Cerroni – photography
Diana Kline – oil

The work of our new members will be featured in the gallery’s next group show PAINT SPLASHES which will run from April 3 to April 21.

Situated just inside the front entrance of the Nepean Sportsplex, the Foyer Gallery showcases original works of art created by a select group of visual artists from the Ottawa area. Membership in the group is subject to evaluation by an independent jury to ensure that art in the gallery is always of a professional calibre. Gallery members work in a wide variety of media, ranging from oils, watercolours, acrylics, fibre art and photography to sculptural works in wood, metal, clay, marble and glass.

The gallery operates as an artist-run cooperative gallery, and is staffed by friendly volunteers. Exhibitions include themed Group shows, Focus shows featuring the work of three or four artists, and Solo shows. Exhibitions typically change every three weeks, so there is always something new to see.

Wednesday to Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Closed Monday, Tuesday and statutory holidays.
