Foyer artists in Art Credo

St Johns church will host the 44th anniversary Art Credo art exhibition and sale fromSaturday, April 28 to Sunday May 14, 2023. Located at the intersection of Elgin and Somerset Streets, Art Credo has become an annual event, exhibiting amateur and professional works by a variety of artists from Ottawa and surrounding communities. 

Works include paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures which reflect on natural or contemplative themes. There is a wide variety of work including landscapes, still life, figurative works and abstract compositions.

In conjunction with Art Credo there will be two special events.  A Paint Along Night planned for Friday May 5, with pre registration required at a cost of $25. As well, there will be a Poetry Reading evening on Thursday May 11. Poets can contact Mary Ann Varley at varleymaryann1@bell.net to register for a time spot. 

This is a unique opportunity for the public to enjoy, encourage and support local artists in their community and visit this unique heritage building in Centretown.

Hours:   Art Credo is open everyday April 29 to May 14,
Saturday to Thursday Noon to 6pm
Thursday and Friday Noon to 8pm
